Amarbayasgalant monastery. This is considered as one of the three biggest Buddhist institutions in Mongolia. Monastery was built in 1737. The sun is rarely absent, and this, for such northern area, is a real blessing. The land is quite flat, and rich of agriculture. Every end of September there are many open fair held in Ulaanbaatar selling fresh new vegetables, honey, pickle, fruits from the peaceful villages of Selenge province.
